The formulation of a structured problem is "What is the use of VCT approach to learning can improve student learning outcomes in social studies learning of the concept of preventive measures to deal with natural events?"


Classroom Action Research aims to improve student learning outcomes in teaching sixth grade social studies through the use of VCT approach to learning and improving students' motivation in teaching sixth grade social studies through the use of VCT learning approach.
Classroom Action Research procedures implemented through the grooved consists of 4 stages: 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) Observation and 4) reflection.
Of data analysis known that in each cycle an increase in the thoroughness of student learning outcomes. On initial conditions, students who achieve a new thoroughness 44.44%. In the cycle of I students who achieve exhaustiveness has increased 50% from baseline to 66.67%. In the second cycle has increased 50% to 100%. The same thing happened on the seriousness of student learning.
Based on the analysis of data of this study can be concluded that: The use of VCT learning approach can facilitate students in understanding the learning material; use of VCT learning approach can increase the seriousness of the students in learning; use of VCT approach to learning can improve student learning outcomes
